On the first day of our stay, we were tak­en on a trip to a near­by farm to pick apples and pears. The weath­er was won­der­ful; it was a warm autumn day. There were many school bus­es at the farm filled with young children.

About Various Topics

It’s very rare to see chil­dren of the same age as Mark walk­ing alone on the street. Kids are brought to school an hour before class­es start, and they social­ize. They inter­act when they are picked up after school.

Bicycles and REI Store

My chil­dren actu­al­ly bought me a bicy­cle. On Fri­day, they went to the store for jeans (maybe that was an excuse), and they came back with­out jeans but with a bicy­cle. Now, in the evenings when Mark doesn’t have prac­tice, they’re tor­tur­ing him with a healthy lifestyle 🙂

What We Read

Some peo­ple believe that mod­ern chil­dren are not inter­est­ed in the books we grew up with, our old car­toons. Yes, there are many books and films that are ide­o­log­i­cal­ly out­dat­ed, but there are also clas­sic old, good films and cartoons.

Our First Trip to Colorado

We real­ly enjoyed the state of Col­orado. At the entrance, there was a sign: “Wel­come to the Col­or­ful State of Col­orado”. And it tru­ly was col­or­ful. At first, the moun­tains had lit­tle veg­e­ta­tion, with a mix of green­ish-blue hues like cop­per sulfate.
